I continue to be gobsmacked that people do NOT get it that touching, fondling and stroking Black hair is akin to playing with the Labradoodle. And communicates much the same message. And NO, your son may not touch this Black woman's skin "just out of curiosity." This isn't a petting zoo and he may not be allowed to touch a Black woman- or any other -"just out of curiosity" by strangers. What the hell kind of message is that about body agency? Body autonomy? Do White people really just not fucking get boundaries?
I guess we don't.
