I am relieved to know I am not the only person in the room who has never heard any of these. I'm not sure what that makes me: completely out of touch (likely) or unrepentantly out of the mainstream. Still had a good laugh, but without context, I probably missed the much larger joke, which may or may not have been at my expense.

Not unlike standing in the fast line for an hour behind people with a full cart, looking at popular mags, wondering who the fuck ARE these people? When I finally looked up Snooki, I found out immediately why I didn't give a flying shit. When college kids have no clue what the Civil War was, why it was fought or who won, but they could tell us what some twit named Snooki said on Twitter last week, kindly.
