I am not a Christian for very good reason. However I read you for good reason. You are among the few who write with any kind of common sense about Christianity.

I walked away from religion decades ago. It sickens me. I do NOT believe that Christ is god, so that by definition makes me an outcast to this community. Interestingly though I live my life in concert with those teachings far more than most pastors, preachers and priests who have allowed their penises and pride get in the way. I am done with churches. Not with what I experience as holy, but your articles remind me vividly of why so many of us are simply over any kind of organized religion.

I appreciate your viewpoint. We may believe differently but I value the important and thoughtful take for that part of the Christian flock for whom Christ's words really do matter.
