I am in Maasai country right now. Here, if you have many many cattle, you are assumed wise. Not only is that utterly untrue, it's the same ridiculous assumption. A man with many cattle is assumed to be brilliant. Therefore he is chosen to lead, for others want to be rich like him. It doesn't make the slightest difference if you are talking about Maasai culture or American culture. People equate wealth with intelligence. Trump is the perfect example of an utter buffoon whose lackeys convince him he's smart. No. He is dumb as a toad turd, as are all his slavering followers.
