I agree Alex. One of my great recent joys was to get my DNA tested. I was beyond chuffed to find out that I was 15% Spanish/Portuguese, a goodly bit Viking and a smattering of Romanian and Eastern Russian, although most is English/Irish. That really emphasizes that we are all mongrels to some degree, and that there is no such thing as a truly pure race. Everyone came from somewhere else at some point in history. Staying open, soft and curious about others allows us to genuinely enjoy the mirrors they hold up- and that for me means those in the farthest reaches of Myanmar to the darkest corners of Africa. I am everywhere. For they are me.
