I've been here for four years, and am a professional writer. This WAS an oasis for writers and readers, but that's changed a lot now. Four times in about five months I watched my income tank. If we are paid based on readership and my follower numbers keep rising, which is precisely what's happening to other top writers, then how on earth is it that our numbers have tanked? This is a universal experience. So you learn to give a place enough chances, watch what happens, and when it's clear things aren't going to improve, you move.
