Hey Corinne, the unfortunate exchange that I described above was on Medium and the behavior was by a previous Illumination Editor who no longer has access to any of my content. I only just went on Slack, and made the mistake of offering a couple of pieces of input which I said were just suggestions and to be taken as such, do your research. I promptly got snarkily corrected, which I neither need nor have any interest in subjecting myself to. I have frankly had it with poor behavior. I now ignore Slack, as before, and continue to write for Illumination. I scanned a few threads on Slack and that particular commenter has a habit and a tone. I am just DONE with that kind of insecure, supercilious, rude, judgmental behavior. Free country, free speech, my choice not to subject myself to his. I have better things to attend to. Because once I’ve read it or seen it, it’s inside me. So, I just write. You have to decide what works for you. Hope you join us in whatever form works for you.
