Hear hear. I wish I had a plug nickel for every old man or young chick who showed up and stood around going nothing more than running their tongue or eyelash muscles as opposed to actually putting in the work. You get squat out of any facility- gym, pool, squash court etc.- that you don’t sweat in. I have had the great pleasure of training with champions who taught me excellent form. I had the discipline. Without good form it’s far too easy to injure. People who see the gym as a social or pickup club are IN MY WAY. As in GET OFF the bench if you’re not using it. But that’s just my take.
