Given that I’m one of those with the rare disorder, suffice it to say that I’ve been rather grateful that Aimovig has- so far- reduced twenty migraines a month to two. Given that this has plagued me for forty three years, it would be fair to say I’m grateful. But all meds have side effects. I’ve no clue what this might cause, but all the meds I was taking before ( see very long list, in your article) helped but not without extremely high cost. Not worth it. Every single med we take knocks over a domino. For meds like Aimovig, which was rushed to market, and which helps for now- there will be side effects. Nobody gets off scot free. Trust me I am one very grateful person to have much of my life back. But I am watching carefully. Thanks for a great article.
