Gasp. What a radical idea.

While I do adventure travel, it's what I do with what I learn that matters. Along the way I discover and write about people doing good things and making a difference. When I immerse myself in other cultures I can see in my face the effects of climate change, racism and hate. If all I did was self-aggrandizement, PUH LEEZE. I happen to enjoy extreme adventures but it is a vehicle to being in better shape as I age, but also a gateway to what I see in the world and what we can do about it. What pisses me off is the Instagram culture. I have 140k photos. I am in a fraction of a fraction of a fraction of 1% of them. I am not the story. People don't understand that we are in service to one another which is why I constantly tell other's stories in my articles. It's not fucking all about the almighty ME.

there's a lot more to that but for what it's worth, the mindless motivation movement is just another clusterfuck. We cannot all be anything we wanna be. That's bullshit. We can, however, be and do great things in a billion small ways every single day. THAT is what makes us great.
