Fair enough...however, even that said, when you and I write a line that makes a sweeping statement, as with anything I write, it's respectful to Dear Reader to allow for the fact that many of our Dear Readers likely aren't included. While I understand your point, please understand mine. I didn't find it either insulting or demeaning; both those words are an exaggeration. I am simply pointing out that a statment that includes all women is going to be inherently incorrect, especially one that speaks to what we all want. It would be equally full of hubris for me to claim that all men want a strong willed woman, for that is most certainly not true at all. It is, from where I sit as a prize winning author and journalist, slightly more respectful of those who read us to acknowledge that none of us can make any kind of statement that includes "all," by definition. You'd take umbrage if I attempted to speak for you. THAT is my point. `
