Don't misread this as a slam- I think so many of us Boomer women tried SO hard to ring the damned bell that nothing nothing nothing had changed ever, no matter what corporations bragged. So many gains we made about body agency and other hugely important topics got eaten away by really bad laws by really bad people fucking terrified of powerful women. We yelled and screamed to pay attention. People didn't. Again, not a slam. What it says is how entrenched these things really are, and how we can't EVER relax and say we're good. We're NOT good. Never were good. If you are this justifiably angry, imagine being Black and fighting these battles. Our sisters of color have it even worse. I get your frustration. I was that frustrated in my thirties and forties in corporate America too, then hung out my own shingle. Worse, back when I was full time corporate we had health care. Now? Shit. You know. I hope you band together, start a company that hires moms like you, and go Kick Ass. I'll be cheering you on.
