Don't feel terrible! We write about what we know, and this spice is part of your upbringing, and you want to share it. That's as natural as the dawn. What we typically don't consider is the simple reality that not everything that works for us, works for others. That's what makes us better writers, when we consider others.

As for my health, I'm an athlete, Neha. Being a hemophiliac is an inconvenience (well, okay, more than that, considering some of the extreme adventure sports I do). My overall health is ridiculous. To that, I just had abdominal surgery to remove my ovaries on November 18th. The instructions were to wait six weeks before lifting ten pounds. Will you just PLEASE. Yesterday I eased a 100 lb glass and oak curio out the back of my car and into the garage. I'm sure my surgeon would be horrified. But she doesn't have my body. I heal like a ten year old kid. I was exercising about a week after the surgery. We really do underestimate how well the body works when we exercise and feed it responsibly.

As for reasons to smile, goodness. I have those all day long. All I have to do is look outside my window at the woods, the animals and the surroundings where I moved this year. I am so very fortunate, but it took hard work. Now, if my gym would just reopen.....
