Bernadette, thanks kindly for your response. Clarity is power, humor is mastery. In today’s world we don’t often see much of either, or both together. This underscores one of the very problems in my current relationship. When we’re consumed with our own self-importance, and we are short of the kind of self-deprecating humor that perforates our puffery, we have a hard time being happy.
