Being open, soft and curious are art forms, Luke, and when we stand with others in that space it is indeed a gift. that is in part what I am trying to say, rather than try to rewrite someone else's lived experiences with our own. Ours are valid but they don't overshadow anyone else's. So many subtle shadings to this.
