Back in 1987, I made a decision. A year later I was down close to 90 lbs. Since then I have varied perhaps five or ten, only under quarantine did I gain 23, all of which is now gone again. At 67, I am one of the very few who successfully dropped massive body weight and have kept it off for life. I am weary to death of being asked what pills or programs or magic bullshit I used. I changed how I ate, I increased my exercise, and I ate for fuel instead of as a hobby or distraction from pain. It never got easy and it's harder the older I get. But changing lifestyle means forever. Not "til I get slimmer" and then celebrate by gorming three pizzas.
