At some level, Jeanette, I just do not understand why there is such an enormous investment in being right about the inferiority of anyone else, especially an entire race, based on nothing. Other than fear, I guess. I'm not surprised either, just pissed. It never ends. My privilege is that I do not have to live it. That's the other thing White folks don't get: the constant messaging that no matter what you do it will never be enough.
