As IF. As if they had a clue how to truly manage their own lives. AS IF they understood the parameters of our lives. AS IF they were imbued with such Godlike wisdom that it was their job to grace us with instructions on how to live. I might argue that the compulsion to tell others how to live is in and of itself a symptom of their own illnesses.
