As a fellow runner, I totally agree. It would stand to reason that this likely goes for just about anything we do. These days I run gently about 12 miles a week to integrate with all the other things I do to build basic endurance and lung capacity. Beyond that I do stairs which really pushes the lungs. But to your point, my extreme days are largely over unless I am in serious trouble and have to dip a spoon into that capacity. Thanks for your comments.
