And that sells, Scott, but it's a lie (aging is NOT a disease) and research does not back him up. While it's helpful to have people looking at improving the aging process, by which means you and I will absolutely agree on all counts, the bullshit story that aging is a disease is deeply problematic not only because it contradicts nature but also because for Christ's sake we have too many people on the planet as it is. The point is, and you and I both know this, people want to live longer BUT they don't want to LOOK older which is inevitable, AND they want to look like Arnold or The Rock without doing the damned work. As someone approaching seventy in January, and who is about to leave for Chile for an extended horse ride in the Atacama Desert, I know enough about fitness to parse through all the idiocy. However until people reach my age and and can appreciate the necessary brevity of life, it's awfully hard to also appreciate how important it is to get the hell off the planet for coming generations.
