Again, Udi, you will find no argument from me, particularly as it relates to cattle raising, beef consumption, the whole piece. I alluded to that in my response. If you look at Iceland, which for most of its history also existed on meat, they now have geothermal hothouses and import lots of fresh food. But my god, the cost, and therein lies the problem. I’d vastly prefer to hug my cows (I have lots of photos of just that) than eat them. I don’t have the answers. Mono crops of all kinds kill insects, birds AND the soil. All this is easy to research. You won’t hear much of an argument from me. But by the same token, if we all are abundant, then we breed. Uncontrollably. We already do. Nature has a way of trimming her excess animals (without any help from us) and indeed that includes us. If we’re dumb enough to feed ourselves to death, then perhaps the rest of the earth might have a shot at regeneration. But that’s just me.
