Admittedly I've had my writing moments being mad at men who rape. That's different from ALL men, and it's also different from the wholesale demonization of a gender. I don't know if you read Nicole Chardenet but you two have much in common. She has a way of going after both shrill sides, and they are shrill. While I may be unhappy at times at the way some men or women have treated me, I am also happy to own the fact that I was in some cases participating, although I would stop at the rape boundary. I didn't sign up for that. That said, though, I regularly point out and it needs to be said that plenty of good men exist, as do plenty of good women. The sad part is that hate and fear and ugliness do sell, and because they sell, the platforms won't do much about it. It's money in the door. Hope, love, acceptance, personal responsiblity, growth et al are not your big money makers. Says a lot about all of us.
