However. Out of respect for your time, I no longer write original material on Medium. I write on my own website and am getting ready to start a Substack account called Too Old for This Shit. You’re welcome to find me at www.WalkaboutSaga.com.
I spent five hard years working to build a base on Medium. Deeply grateful for the folks who found my work here and followed me. However the constant unpredictability of payment here ended my company in its entirety last year so I left. I only check back to respond to comments.
A number of you continue to sign up to read my new material. This kind of note, to inform Dear Reader that I no longer produce on Medium, is the only new material you will get on this platform.
Your attention, your eyeball time are precious commerce. Spend it where you get the most value, where you are encouraged, supported, challenged, made to laugh and live life as best you possibly can. If you don’t get enough of that on Medium, I would take a look around and see if your tribe might have moved elsewhere.
