A Dutch friend of mine, when I visited her in the Netherlands, commented that Americans love their labels. Her culture, she said, valued opinions. You are what you think, she said. We are what we like to claim we are, whether or not there's any truth behind it. We as a culture place a great deal of value on labels.

Labels don't translate to doing. Doing translates to doing. Period.
