A couple of thoughts. I never saw a single episode, nor do I care. What I do care about is the point you make about the untrammeled judgment around appearance. As an aging athlete of 68, I've been subject to everyrthing from being accused of photoshopping my head onto a younger woman's body (oh for chrissakes, with thousands of photos online, will you please) to committing the crime of aging, which is what you speak to here. Even my own father, ravaged by cancer, bedridden and on his last legs, commented to my mother only about my looks when I was finally able to visit him after a long, hateful forced isolation from the family. All that mattered was how I looked, not what I had accomplished. This is how we eat our own children, for we teach them from toddler up to hate aging, which they cannot help, to hate their bodies, their looks, all of it. It's a massive issue, and it's not getting any better. What you speak to is a small fraction of how those who have dime to make on the passing of time and our fear of it. My parents did this to me, and I have spent a lot of life have to retrain my brain. I am still subject to such judgment for what we learn young, we learn hard.
